They’re both just disguising something that isn’t that good, that probably could have been great with the right flavor. Plus, I hate things that depend on shock value for attention.
1. “I hate things that depend on shock value” sounds a little funny coming from someone who only blogs about A.) having a vagina, and/or the...
Africa Bound and a bit for camera buffs.
In 4 more days, I will be done with finals for the semester…and Africa bound, aboard the M/v Liberty Glory as a cadet. I’m slightly freaked out, but surprisingly complacent with the thought of being out of country for a third of a year. I’ve got 4 more days of finals, then I go home for a week…I’m going out to see my best friends, out in Iowa City for Halloween...

Our flagpole is 192 feet tall, and over 3 feet in diameter!...
Soon to be gone.
Well, I’ll very soon be leaving to start studying abroad aboard an actual merchant ship; the one I was assigned to is the M/V Liberty Glory. It’s an old, 183m long rust bucket that delivers grain bulk to poorly developed African ports. It’s at the bottom of all the ships, the equipment on board is old, outdated, and the crew has to work all the time to keep it together....

Lucid dreams.
I keep wondering why I continue to have vivid chapters of dreaming in my life.
I’ll go weeks with nothing but black in my dreams, and then for a few weeks I will have dreams that I control, dreams where things happen (and sometimes happen later on) and even a few dreams taking a step back in that my old best friend, who passed away, is a major role. I understand now that my total acceptance...
